I have owned this aircraft since 2000.  In August 2004 I had an engine stoppage due to an improperly installed fuel line.  I performed an off-airport landing in a field and went through a barbwire fence.  The fence posts did minor damage to the leading edges of both wings that has been repaired.  The aircraft was in repair for six months, during which I had it thoroughly inspected and had every little thing done that needed to be done.  I have flown it about 100 hours since then with no problems.  It is using only one quart of oil every 15 hours.  Repair was done by Charles Snodgrass at Sowell Aviation in Panama City, FL and completed in May 2005.  The damage is visible in one of the above photos.
